Raising concerns about website content

This policy explains how to raise concerns about inaccurate or misleading content, privacy issues or legal notices relating to this information resource.

Owner review required — not solicitor-reviewed

This page was prepared from internal legal drafts for owner review. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor. Will must owner-approve this page before it is relied on for live contractor payments. This is not legal advice.

1. Who we are

This policy is issued by Journey North Media Ltd, which operates FireDoorInstallation.com.

References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Journey North Media Ltd.

Company registration number: 17086221.

TODO: registered office address to be added when confirmed.

2. Who can raise a concern

Concerns may be raised by buyers, responsible persons, dutyholders, managing agents, contractors, profile subjects, certification or training bodies, insurers, clients, regulators, legal representatives or other affected parties.

3. Types of concern

Concerns may include inaccurate guide content, misleading statements, privacy or personal data concerns, unauthorised use of documents, safety concerns, legal notices, or claims that this site approves, vets, certifies or recommends contractors.

4. How to report a concern

Content corrections, legal notices and privacy concerns: hello@firedoorinstallation.com.

Please include enough detail for us to identify the page or content, describe the concern and provide contact details if you want a response.

5. Acknowledgement

We aim to acknowledge concerns within a reasonable period. Response times depend on the nature and urgency of the concern. We do not guarantee a fixed response time.

Urgent safety, legal, privacy or seriously misleading content concerns may be prioritised.

6. Possible outcomes

After review, we may: take no action; correct a minor error; add a limitation note; temporarily hide content; or seek legal or professional advice.

We are not a regulator, court, expert witness, technical assessor, certifier or dispute tribunal. Handling a concern does not mean we have made a legal or technical finding.

7. Response to the person concerned

Where appropriate, we may ask the person who raised the concern for clarification.

Urgent concerns may justify temporary hiding of content before a fuller review.

8. Urgent pause or removal

We may urgently pause or hide content where there is serious safety concern, legal threat, privacy breach, evidence of misleading claims, unauthorised document publication or misuse of site branding.

9. Unsupported or malicious complaints

We may decline to act on complaints that appear malicious, unsupported, abusive or outside the scope of this website.

We may still correct inaccurate information if we discover an error.
